Step 2
Design Process & Concept Development
We thoroughly familiarize ourselves with your aesthetic preferences through questionnaires and interviews. Beyond that, we examine our inspiration and present you with a comprehensive vision for your home.
This includes details on colors, tones, textures, and, in certain instances, a preview of the materials that influence the spaces we are collaboratively designing with you.
Step 3
Finishes Design & Material Selection
In this stage, we carefully choose interior and exterior finishes and detail trade-specific elements such as plumbing and lighting fixtures, tiles, countertops, flooring, wall and window treatments, cabinetry, and hardware.
The checklist is extensive, and we methodically address various components. A dedicated day is scheduled to streamline the involvement of all trades, minimizing the number of appointments.
Orders for furniture, finishes, and materials have been finalized, and the project's installation schedule has been established.
Step 4
Spec Book & Project Engagement
Once design elements receive approval, we compile a comprehensive Spec Book, furnishing it to your contractor and their trades. This document serves as a vital reference on your project site, ensuring that the design intent is faithfully executed throughout the remodeling process.
We conduct multiple walkthroughs during this phase, addressing queries and troubleshooting alongside your contractor and their trades. Our emphasis lies in being the initial point of contact for any contractor inquiries, allowing you to relax while we handle the intricacies of the project details.
Step 5
Furniture Design & Procurement
As construction progresses, we shift our focus to your project's furniture and styling components. Our process involves choosing upholstered furniture, case goods, accessories, artwork, rugs, bedding, and pillows that resonate with your unique style and aesthetic preferences.
Every detail is meticulously considered, from the placement of anchor furniture pieces to the selection of finishing touches. In instances where it enhances the overall vision, we also engage in custom design, crafting elements to give your home a distinctive and authentic touch.
All selected furnishing and styling elements are procured and stored in our warehouse until your project site is prepared to receive the final pieces, ensuring a seamless and well-coordinated installation.
Step 6
Installation & Staging
Absolutely, installation time has arrived! We arrive with truckloads of your carefully selected items, handling all the heavy lifting—thanks to our team of strong individuals dedicated to this task.
With meticulous planning, where every detail has been drawn and scrutinized, and every conceivable angle, height, width, and depth measured, we assure you that your sofa will seamlessly fit into the elevator.
Even that hand-carved, antique armoire sourced from Indonesia? We're confident it will gracefully pass through your front door, arriving intact and ready to enhance your space.
